Major 用英语 at FRC!
Whether you enjoy reading or want to fine-tune your ability to express yourself, the 英语 department combines both creative and analytical areas of study. The study of 英语 provides a solid foundation in communication and analytical skills that support and develop expertise in 许多职业. The program offers an A.A. 用英语 and leads to transfer at any four-year school or university. The faculty in the 英语 department are supportive and provide mentoring to their students.

The department strives to create a community of thinkers who are ready to engage a quickly changing world. At FRC you will benefit from personal attention and you will be able to explore a variety of specialty areas, such as social justice, environmental and regional literature, creative writing, as well as foundational explorations in literary and theoretical history and analysis. The 英语 department maintains close relationships with the Environmental Studies and the 艺术工作室 departments.
